Nationals vs Mets

We caught the Nationals against the Mets this week. Used the DC Metro for the first time. It worked out great.
The Nats have really done a nice job with their new stadium. I have been to the stadiums of the Red Sox, Yankees, Mets, A's, Mariners, Dodgers, Angels, Diamondbacks, Padres, Rays, and Orioles. This is my third favorite stadium. Behind Seattle and Boston. (Fenway rules!)

We had fantastic seats behind home plate, but the Mets beat the Nats with a great pitching performance by Johan Santana.

Ivana and Dan

Ivana and Dan working on some dance steps.

I got a lesson on the beautiful settings available in the Washington DC area. Ivana and Dan took me around to some of their favorite spots and we got some great shots.Union Station was busy with people but elegant and huge.

We went over to the Kennedy center.

And we finished up in the Georgetown area. A great day.

Colin's 1st round of Senior Portraits

I shot Colin for his senior portrait. We are going to do several rounds of photos, including some in his "outfit". Colin is a champion Irish Dancer and has a great costume for the many competitions he enters. In fact, after a long layoff due to a broken toe, he won the very first contest he entered.

A bad situation turns good

Christina's long-time friend, Joanne, was flying back from vacation and got stuck at Dulles. She called us and we spent a wonderful afternoon with her and her two boys.

This little monkey beat me at Scrabble.

A big time Sox fan.

A little Angel....

I had the pleasure of photographing little A. Such an Angel!

Mom and Dad could not be nicer people.

I love those little feet.

A and B

I had a great time shooting A and B last week. They are two great kids and we had a lot of fun.

Cross that one off the bucket list!

Wooohooo! I took batting practice at the Washington Nationals field.

Thanks to Armin DeFiesta for the shot of me on first base. I shot the rest with my Iphone.
Me in the dugout.
Me being goofy on the field.

It was an ISES meeting, and the Nationals were showing off the stadium for events. This was one of the biggest thrills of my life and I had a blast!
